社服が決められているので…

一年を通してベースボールシャツは着ています。作業をするのにとても楽です。袖が七分なので一年中着ています。最近は軍モノのパジャマパンツをよく着ます。
若手
体の自由がきく動きやすい服を着用しています。また火や薬品を使った作業もあるので安全面にも注意を払っています。

Mainstay
I wear baseball shirt throughout the year. It’s very easy to work in because with baseball shirts, the sleeves are just the right length.
Lately I wear vintage military pajama pants.
Apprentice
I choose flexible clothing but I’m always careful since we deal with fire and chemicals.
- 「ジュエリーづくり」において、ルーティーンやルールなどありますか？
Do you have a routine or a set of rules in your craft?
ベテラン
私はクラフトマンなので、依頼者のイメージに近いもの、イメージを超えるものを作る事を心がけています。
特に注意している事は、ジュエリーは直接素肌に着けるものが多いので、装着感、着け心地にはこだわっています。後は、作る側のエゴが出すぎない様に注意しています。
中堅
毎日ノートにアイディアや絵を描くこと。
若手
モノづくりにおいては、いきなり作業を始めるのではなくまず必ず紙に書き出したり、頭の中で作業工程を整理するなど、準備をしっかりしてから望むようにしています。制作の際には一つ一つの工程を大事にし、その時できることを精一杯やるように心がけています。
Veteran
As a craftsman my goal is to recreate the client’s vision, or try to go beyond their vision. I’m also particular about how the jewelry feels on you. The comfort. Last but not least, I try to put my ego aside.
Mainstay
Take notes and draw every day.
Apprentice
Preparation is important to me, whether it’s a sketch of the product or configuring the process in my mind. Every procedure, every step is important and I try to do my best throughout.

Is Porter Classic jewelry expensive?

正直ちょっと高いのでは？と思いますが、作り手の思いが感じられるモノばかりなので…

とても良心的な価格だと思います。
若手
ジュエリーは商品や使用地金によって値段が大きく変わってしまいますが、適当な値段であると思います。

It seems a little expensive to me, but then again, you feel the spirit of the artisan from the items so..

I think it’s very reasonable.

With jewelries, the market value is always a factor, but I think the price is adequate.

上手く言えませんが、どの商品にも作り手の思い（優しさや楽しさ、難しさ）を感じられるところです。
中堅
剣道シリーズを初めて見たときの事は今でも覚えています。こんなすごいアイディア誰が考えたんだろ。そして商品化されていることに衝撃を受けました。
今剣道の３ピースをオーダーしているので毎日ワクワクしています。
若手
アンティーク調の仕上げや表面処理の工夫で落ち着いた雰囲気を見せているところを気に入っています。PCさんのジュエリーは面白いデザインだったり表現があり、私も楽しく制作しています。

The first time I saw PC KENDO I was blown away thinking “who came up with this idea and materialized it?”
Every day I’m looking forward to my personal order of the PC KENDO 3 piece suit.
Apprentice
I like the antique finishes, the variety of external processes, innovativeness with composure. The seasoned look of the products.
The jewelries are playful and have interesting designs. We have a blast creating them.
